I have always enjoyed painting and drawing. Two years ago I retired from the
practice of Emergency Medicine to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a
professional artist. It is a decision that I have enjoyed immensely.
I strive for realism in my paintings. I take delight in taking raw oil based colors
and turning them into recognizable and realistic images. I want those images to be
beautiful renderings of beautiful scenes. After 15 years in the Emergency Department
I feel that there is always a need for more beauty. My goal is to create rich, vivid,
colorful paintings that invite the viewer to walk into the scene and enjoy.
I paint all genres, including still lifes, landscapes, figures, and portraits. My
paintings are available as originals and/or commissions.
